Friends of the Bradley Public Library

The Friends of the Bradley Public Library shall be a non-profit organization whose object shall be to promote the interest and support the programs of the Bradley Public Library as a cultural, educational, and recreational asset to the Village of Bradley, IL.

Members: All individuals and organizations interested in the purpose of this organization shall be eligible to membership upon payment of dues.  Each member shall be entitled to one vote.  All membership dues shall be paid annually $5 Individual, $10 Family and $25 Business.

Meetings: The Friends of the Bradley Public Library will meet at least quarterly and meeting dates will be determined by the group.  The members present at any meeting of the membership shall constitute a quorum.

Steering Committee:  A steering committee represented by 2-5 members and including a library trustee shall guide the activity of the group.

Funds: Funds raised by the Friends of the Bradley Library shall be deposited into the account of the Bradley Public Library and shall be disbursed by the Director as it is seen fit.

Be A Friend....

Support programs and purchase equipment that the library could not otherwise afford on its regular budget.

  • Children's Programs/Events
  • Memorial Books
  • Furniture
  • Support for Summer Reading

Work to maintain active and visible support of the Bradley Public Library through community activities.

Volunteer to help the professional staff conduct used book sales, author visits, summer reading, and other services to library patrons.

Please stop into the Bradley Public Library to fill out a Membership Application and submit yearly dues.
